Band of Heroes: Struggle for the Stones
Savros the Pale
Powerful necromancer with numerous undead minions. Wields the Shock Stone of Power
He is one of the “death-touched,” whose bloodline was once filled with the dark power of the great Ardas Moridyn of Grimborn Isle. He believes strongly in the teachings of his family that undead deserve equal treatment. Many of the Joros bloodline pursue dark transformations, some seeking out vampires to be turned by, others choosing other paths. Savros is one of the most humane members of his family; he favors types of undead that do not require consuming life in order to consume themselves such as skeletons. He believes that the teachings of the Ardtan bloodline are wrong and must be eliminated by force in order to create equality among the living and dead. He left his birthplace in order to further his studies, but quickly found that his craft earned him much persecution and even a price on his head in some places.
Savros travels down the path of the Dread Necromancer. He has chosen to devote his life to becoming a Lich, thereby passing through death into eternal unlife. Savros fears his own death; his mother was killed by a fanatical member of the Ardtan sect, which led him to resolve to never dying. His father, however, gave up on the power struggle in town and brought his family and followers to the outskirts of town, where they resettled. Igros abandoned his quest for immortality, which angered Savros, and so he left his birthplace in order to further his studies, but quickly found that his craft earned him much persecution and even a price on his head in some places.
He joined the “Anti-Heroes” partially by accident. He first tried to sell them out for their exorbitant bounty, but eventually was forced to join with them after he was outsmarted by them. After they found out about the Stones of Power, Savros resolved to help the other adventurers, to help him create equality for the undead across the entire continent of Bastille, using the power of the Stones.
